Whether you live in Paris, Saint Denis, Greater Paris, the rest of France or somewhere else in the world, everyone is invited to the party! Paid seating will be located on the lower banks of the River Seine as well as on certain bridges and other nearby areas. Spectators will enjoy an unforgettable collective experience, up close to the performances and the athletes travelling down the river. These spots will make up the very decor of this opening ceremony, combining history and architecture and giving spectators the chance to be part of a unique moment.

The upper banks of the river will be freely open to the public throughout the course of the ceremony. The 80 giant screens located throughout the course showing the entire event will ensure that no-one misses a thing.
