The Paralympic sports of Paris 2024
France will be hosting its first-ever Summer Paralympic Games in 2024. The programme will include 22 sports, 549 events and will take place from 28 August to 8 September. The Paralympic Games are the ultimate goal for athletes with disabilities. These Games offer an opportunity for sportspeople with motor disabilities (amputated or missing limbs, cerebral palsy, paraplegia, tetraplegia, hemiplegia, dwarfism, etc.), sensory disabilities (visual impairment) or intellectual disabilities to achieve sporting excellence and to inspire and entertain the world.
