The paralympic sports included on the Paris 2024 Paralympic sports programme

France will be hosting its first-ever Summer Paralympic Games in 2024. The programme will include 22 sports and the events will take place from 28 August to 8 September. The Paralympic Games are the ultimate goal for athletes with disabilities. These Games offer an opportunity for sportspeople with motor disabilities (amputated or missing limbs, cerebral palsy, paraplegia, tetraplegia, hemiplegia, dwarfism, etc.), sensory disabilities (visual impairment) or intellectual disabilities to achieve sporting excellence and to inspire and entertain the world.

para archery, para athletics, para badminton, boccia, para canoe, para cycling, para equestrian (para dressage), blind football, goalball, para judo, para powerlifting, para rowing, shooting para sport, sitting volleyball, para swimming, para table tennis, taekwondo, para triathlon, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis.
