At Paris 2024, we believe that sport can change lives.
Sport arouses emotions that make life more intense.
Playing sport leads to healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Sport encourages values that make societies more inclusive.
Sport has the power to change everything, improving education health, and social inclusion.
Paris 2024 is all about harnessing the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as well as the enthusiasm and energy the Games will spark, to benefit all generations throughout the whole of France.
By putting sport at the centre of people’ lives.
By drawing inspiration from the values channelled by sport, the athletes and their ability to surpass their own limits.
Paris 2024 is all about awakening our inner athlete.
Paris 2024 is a fraternal and universal celebration, where an entire country is showcased on the world stage. Paris 2024 is a new model for Games that we have built together to enjoy together.
Revolutionary Games like we’ve never seen before
Spectacular Games to take sport to places it’s never been before as part of celebrations in city centres by building new bridges with culture and education.
Sustainable, environmentally friendly games to inspire future generations and leave a valuable legacy for people individually and society as a whole.
This vision is what guides us each day and drives us to achieve our three main goals :
- Celebration– For everyone, everywhere. It will be a nationwide celebration: the Olympic Torch Relay will travel across France, and cities throughout the country will host the sailing, surfing and football competitions. The whole of France will be a playing field, or a “Terre de Jeux”.
- Participation – Paris 2024 has already started rallying people everywhere in France: the sporting movement, the public sector, local and regional authorities, private-sector partners, the general public, etc.
- Legacy– theParis 2024 project will live on long after the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The event is brimming with economic, environmental and social opportunities, and the Games will leave a legacy that will improve society as a whole.
